Pianist Sa Chen returns to NativeDSD with her 4th DSD release in Stereo and Multichannel DSD. Here, Sa Chen performs here one of arguably the best known piano concertos, Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2.
She has been described as “a brilliant pianist” by Emmanuel Ax. Her tone has been praised as “unremittingly beautiful” with “a wide palette of pianistic color” by International Record Review.
Released now as a post-release 3-track EP, we hope to draw fresh attention from DSD music fans to this particular beautiful work and recording from Sa Chen and Pentatone. (The full album that includes these three tracks is also available from NativeDSD in Stereo and Multichannel DSD).
