Julia Kleiter

Julia Kleiter was first acknowledged internationally 2004 making her debut as ‘Pamina‘ in a production “Die Zauberflöte“ staged by Bob Wilson and conducted by Jiri Kout at Opéra Bastille in Paris. In the meantime she has sung the part of ‘Pamina‘ under Marc Minkowski in Paris and Madrid, under Claudio Abbado at the Edinburgh Festival, under Nikolaus Harnoncourt in Zurich and under Adam Fischer at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. After having sung – conducted by Semyon Bychkov – concert performances of “Daphne“ and the role of ‘Xenia‘ in “Boris Godunov” in Florence and under Claudio Abbado ‘Pappagena’ in Ferrara, Baden-Baden and Modena she performed new productions of “Lucio Silla“ by Johann Christian Bach under Theorodr Guschlbauer in Winterthur and 2006 of Mozarts “La La Finta Giardiniera“ under Nikolaus Harnoncourt in Zurich. In Verona and Reggio Emilia she sang ‘Susanna‘ in „Le Nozze di Figaro, in Venice and at the Salzburger Festival she made her debut 2006 in Mozart’s “Lucio Silla“ under Tomas Netopil. Also in Salzburg she performed concert performances of Mozart’s „Betulia liberata“ under Christoph Poppen.
